Small Peek...

Love it!

It's out of felt and veneer wood and I think it just looks amazing.

Maybe one day I'll be making one like this one, since my dad is working with this material :)

Earring Holder

A simple idea on how to store your earrings :)

I glued together all 3 card boards and pierced 2 wooden sticks through.

And from there on it's just decoration :)

Im going to give it to my friend who has tons of earrings so I think that even if she isn't going to like it, she is going to need it :D

Movie Thursday: Premium Rush

In Manhattan, a bike messenger picks up an envelope that attracts the interest of a dirty cop, who pursues the cyclist throughout the city.

Would you go for a ride through New York with a bike out of a steel frame, fixed gears and no brakes? Well at least he has a helmet on ...

The movie is great, I loved the sense of humour and the chasing scenes :) Another good movie with Joseph Gordon-Levitt :)

The Christmas candy box!

This is the How to for the Candy Boxes I've posted last week.

Let's get started, shall we?!

First, grab a lovely printed paper that is a bit harder than usual office paper, so printed cardboard, size 31 x 19 centimeters.

Every 5 cm of length and the bottom once fold it as shown on the picture.

For the bottom cut out small triangles.

On that one centimeter that is left behind, apply double sided tape. And also on the bottom too (watch the picture above).

After that, you will give the box its shape. First tape the ends together and then take a deep breath and start folding the bottom ends together. Start with the one with no tape, then continue with the next and so on and so on (Be careful that you don't press to hard, because you won't be able to correct the shape if needed).

We are almost done, now you just need to press the two edges together on the top and make holes :)

Decorate and you're done :)

Movie Thursdays: Fight Club

An insomniac office worker and a devil-may-care soap maker Tyler Durden form an underground fight club that transforms into a violent revolution.

This is the movie you just need to see. Out of the question. It's a movie that makes you think. Think really hard. Not just because of the reveal almost at the end. But because of all the quotes, the questions about life, happiness and freedom.

Just some of the best quotes from the movie:

Narrator: This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Tyler Durden: All the ways you wish you could be, that's me. I look like you wanna look, I fuck like you wanna fuck, I am smart, capable, and most importantly, I am free in all the ways that you are not.

Narrator: On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Narrator: If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

We've been making some very cute cardboard boxes and a simple Christmas tree for decoration :)

Im going to post a How to, next time, probably next weekend, because I need to make another one and take a photo of every step...

But it's super easy :) Hope I'll make it till next week :)
