''Emma, read!''

Hello to you!

I've just watched the last part of Harry Potter and I am so exited! It was really good, to bad it was a bit long, but I survived. I love the whole story, but I must confess, I haven't read the books...yikes! But the truth about me is that i hate reading....well, hate is a very strong word, too strong for this...so I will say it differently, I don't like reading. It's a pity and I know it.

My mom and brother (which are book fanatics) always said ''Emma, read!'' And my anwser was always ''No.''
Believe me, now in high school, where I have to read very much, I feel the consequences because of my lost childhood. But I am doing something on this problem!

Now when I am working in the wood company, when we have these 20 minutes brakes (sssh, my bosses don't need to know this! :) I like to read. I've read One Flew over the cuckoo's nest by Ken Kesey ( I recommend the book AND the movie! It's brilliant! Jack Nicholson especially! ) and now Im reading A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. I've just started but I must say it is very good.

I think that if a book draws attention to you at the very beginning, you will love the whole book. I mean, it always happened to me :D If I don't like the book at the beginning, it won't be as good as it could be.

Well, I would write more, but I have a book to finish! :)

Have a nice day and read! It is only for your own good :)

Tetris

Oooh, don't you just love oldschool games!
I know I do! I loved Pac-man, Tetris, Jazz the Jackrabbit, Pokemon, Beyblade and many many moore which names I don't remember :(

I was thinking a bit, and its a shame my kind will probably never have the opportunity to play such quality games. I mean, just look around, only guns, blood, killing, competing...nothing really fun! Sure, you need some thinking in those games, but I don't believe it's that quality.

Maybe thats just me :)
But I made this fun design on a box of Lindt chocholates and I like it :)

Nothing hard, just take some coloured stronger paper and make your own design :)

Strings: Flowers

Not finished...sorry!
Small and cute flowers that can last forever! And they are super easy to make :)

You just need:
- colourful strings ( + green)
- a wooden stick

But first, get yourselves in a good mood with some good music by your favorite artist and grab a fork!
You will vrap the coloured string around it ( the bigger the fork, the better it will look ) and vrap it around several times till you think it will be ok. Oh, and be careful, the string can easily slip off the fork which means you need to start over :D So hold it real tight!

When that is complete, make a small double knot on the center and pull it off the fork.

Now you just cut one side off the ''bow'' and leave the other one like it is.

You are almost done, you just need to wrap the other side of the ''bow'' with green and put a wooden stick through it (watch the first picture).

Paint the stick green and you have a nice flower :)

Experiment with colours!
Make many more and you can make a nice bouquet :)

PS: Sorry because these aren't finished, I wanted to post another DIY as soon as possible and I hope you don't mind because they aren't painted green and in a bouquet... :)

Please do send me pictures if you make by this tutorial on nicholon.ema@gmail.com

Napkins: Small wooden box

I once bought a set of 6 small boxes in different shapes. And because they were plain and boring, I decided to add some nice patterns with the napkin technique.

You will need:
- a small wooden box
- matt varnish
- napkins

First you cut out the napkins, just to see how would it fit on the box, and when that is decided, you add some matt varnish.

I haven't done any more designs, but I will and when I will I will show you! :D

Hmmm...Thank you!

So, I was thinking ... thinking really hard!
And I've discovered how much would mean to me that I would actually have someone reading my blog.
Yeah, Im pretty sad right now, because I want to make things right here, but I don't have that much time now ( I'm making money in a door factory) and experience (this is my first blog and even this one is only a month old)
But I don't really know what to do. I made myself a facebook profile (I didn't have it before) so I could propagate my blog. ''Sadly'' Im not that kind of person that likes to spam every site it sees and uses it for its own use. I've done it like three or four times and it didn't work out.
So I was thinking how to get more followers....yeah, I didn't remember anything good xD Actually nothing...Which makes me even sadder..
But YOU! yes you, you are welcome to my blog, even if you are just passing by. Thank you :)
I would be very happy even if I would have just one reader :)

I promise I will do better! :)
