Today is Blog Action Day, where Bloggers from all over the world post about the same thing - this year - Human Rights.

I know I should write something on my own, but I was very touched by this post from Zen Pencils, one of my favourite Blogs:

The Declaration of Human Rights should be one of the most important and considered piece of paper forever! 
I'm very sad when I turn on the television and see how these points are violated.
I sincerely hope the World will see that we have a big problem and not just hope, but act to prevent further violations!

Well hello there! It's been a while....

But now that I'm back home, I'll be posting some stuff in a while...I just need to get back to shape of writing blog posts...yeah...

Happy Statehood Day Slovenia!

Statehood Day (Slovene: Dan državnosti) is a holiday that occurs on every 25 June in Slovenia to commemorate the country's declaration of independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. Although the formal declaration of independence did not come until 26 June 1991, Statehood Day is considered to be June 25 since that was the date on which the initial acts regarding independence were passed and Slovenia became independent. Slovenia's declaration jump started the Ten-Day War, which it eventually won, with its former overseer Yugoslavia. I live in a state that is small, but proud of its independence. I know you have probably heard about our bank, corruption problems... I don't know what will come, but I know that if we want changes, we will have to unite again, like we did 22 years ago. Because we need them.

My school - Gymnasium Slovenj Gradec

Yesterday I was at the ceremony at the end of school, when our principal gives us our certificates that we made the year and can go on in the next school year :)

It was damn hot! 
At the moment there are 32° C outside and I can barely breathe... So imagine 300 people in a gym all seated, and the sun ruthlessly shining on us. Thanks for my concern on the looks of the certificate, I brought a big blue folder with me. So just  imagine me with that folder waving around like crazy. 
Fun...fun...fun...

After that me and my friends went to the park and have some good 
time :) I like the park. Especially when there are a lot of people and I just go around to every bench there is and have a little chit chat with someone. 

I could say that I was very successful this year, but I wasn't ''excellent''. I don't know about you Americans or British, but here in Slovenia you get a final grade on how well you did in school.
There are marks:
(1) insufficient, which means you didn't make the class.
(2) sufficient, you were OK, but pretty bad ..
(3) good, you are somewhere in the middle ..
(4) very good, that's me... but it I had one subject more completed with a excellent grade, I would have been;
(5) excellent, which is the best, you have most of the subjects completed with a 5 (excellent).

Oh well, I still have one year of high school ahead! Maybe next year, but now I think I'll stop thinking of school and enjoy the summer ...

I used to be Emma Nicholson. But that's not me. I've changed all my accounts to my real name.

For those who have followed me for this year, I'm sorry. I kinda lied to you.
I used Emma Nicholson to be my guardian on the internet. I never wanted my friends to know about my blog.

I recently won a book on Cut out and Keep, and the name that was posted to was Emma Nicholson...and my uncle, who is a postman, didn't like that at all...And I've had it. 

So here I am! I have a clear conscience and I am very relieved.

I hope you understand and won't be mad or anything :)

I just realised...

...that it's been a year since I started my blog!

Actually a year and 2 days...

Congratulate me, because I really didn't believe I would survive a year. But I really enjoy blogging. I know I'm not the best blogger and my English is still not perfect, but I'm learning! You can't judge me :)

So, how am I doing....
Well, I've just passed 5000 of readers...not much for a year, but I'm still very grateful to all of those who came and maybe just looked at my projects, movies, ... :) 
That means you too, yeah you, who is reading right now!

Busy, busy holidays...

Hello everyone!

First, I'm sorry I forgot to post Movie Thursdays yesterday, but I was so busy with all the things I have to do during these holidays before my last month of school. I can't wait for summer holidays, or should I say London!

I'm so happy that spring finally came and that there is a lot more sunny days like today! I really have to get a tan, because there is a wedding coming up next Saturday and I've already bought a nice dress, but I still need to get rid of my ''imaginary'' T-shirt that is all white on me right now, because I've been on the sun for 7 hours counting traffic...
So, if you can imagine, I really have sleeves and a neck line all white, but the rest is tanned! I look silly!

But still, I have a lot of time to work on some projects for school and for myself. I'm thinking what to do next for my DIY projects, but I didn't think of anything yet. YET. However, be patient because my next projects for Lots of buttons are coming very quickly!


Wow, this post is really different for the others.. I know I usually don't talk this much...Oh well, it's time for some changes :)

Oh, and could you please comment below what do you think of my blog :) I really want some feedback on how I'm doing all this blogging thing... :)

I'm 18!

I feel the same...Ok, no, I confess I'm pretty exited about it! :D

Because I'm quite small, like 160cm (maybe a cm below :D), no one believed I'm becoming an adult. 

But come on, would you believe a small, baby-faced girl with braces? ...But facts are facts, so hello ''adulthood''! :D

On the picture are me, my brother and my Big Teddy Bear, that I got from my Dad exactly 18 years ago :) Supeeer Cute! :D

A day late...

Happy Halloween!

Sorry about that, I know I'm like a day late, but I wasn't home all day, because I was too busy watching the new James Bond movie Skyfall!!! Love it!

No, I haven't masked myself, it's not really that mainstream here in Europe....but you can still see some awesome masked people walking around :D
