I'm back!

But I want to go back!

The trip to Montenegro with my schoolmates was legendary!

We were there for seven days, traveled by bus to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Later on to Žabljak in Montenegro, where we were all packed up in one cottage having a blast.

And from there we went to Budva, the main city for fun. Three nights I danced like I had never before.

And from there we went to Croatia - Dubrovnik

 Split - Diocletian's Palace

Kotor

Lovčen

and Šibenik where we also slept.

And that was our last school year trip. Legendary!

I didn't bring my camera with me, so these pictures are from the internet. I'll probably get some pictures during the year, but most of them are from those nights when we partied! :)

London II

So let's continue a brief description of my trip to London :) If you missed the first part, read it here.

Day five!

Trafalgar Square with the National Gallery. Love the Gallery. It's very big, has many interesting and known works, but I would be in just some parts where the most known paintings are.
And that was about it for this day... We went around the city till the afternoon.

Day six!
We took a look in Albert and Victoria Museum which is even huger, but it has so many works and if you know what you want to see, you just go there. You can really get inspired by all the displayed things :)
Afterwards we went to see Royal Albert Hall and his Memorial. Afterwards we went to Harrods and took a look inside. So luxurious :D
Oh, and very close to Harrods there is the Ecuador Embassy where Julian Assange is. And on the third of July he was celebrating his birthday :)

Day seven!
Buckingham Palace was indeed a must-see. The Queen was home, but she didn't came to show herself...Oh well, now she has a baby George to take care of :)
And then we went to St. Pancras - international station. And inside there is a statue called The Meeting Point, featuring images from the history of the Tube and train: people queuing on platforms or travelling in carriages; soldiers departing for war and returning injured, and repair works following the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

Day eight!
Last day to enjoy the great city. We went to see the horse guards exchange. Now if you like horses and you feel like standing there for an half an hour, go. But it isn't that interesting to watch. Well at least for me.
Because I like London as a city, we walked up and down and saw wonderful architecture, interesting shops, people...well it's very different as here in Slovenia. So yeah, if you go there, go around and experience London a bit differently.

Day nine!
We had to get up early in the morning and run to Hammersmith station to catch the first train to Liverpool Street Station. And from there on we took the Teravision bus and got to the airport soon enough to have some breakfast. And from there on we flew to Trieste Airport. Our relatives came to pick us up and took us to Nova Gorica, but there my journey didn't stop, because I stayed with them for two weeks.

London I

Hello everyone!

As you know, I was in London a few weeks ago with my mom. We stayed at my great grandmothers house for 9 days.
The weather was great, but there were two days of a bit cooler and a bit more windy like weather.
But now when I look back I'd go there again and again...

Look...me! :)

Day one!
We had to unpack our things and take a look around the neighborhood - Hammersmith. It's very nice, mom said that it's cleaner now after 9 years. We loved Primark and why wouldn't we, super cool clothes for a good price!

Day two!
We got up early in the morning and went to Greenwich with the tube - such a good transport system! We have our own Oyster cards now :)
Greenwich is beautiful! I saw Cutty Sark before it was caught of fire...now she is a beauty in a glass fence. We visited the Greenwich Market, which I recommend to all you craft-art lovers, because you will find a lot of good, clever, quality crafts there! We also visited Clocktower Market - full of antiques which are my favourite things to watch.
And because that was all for day one on our "plan", we took the tube and went off at the Monument (also the station is called that). You have all the information on it, so here is a picture.

Day three!
We took the tube and left it somewhere near St. Paul's Cathedral
and walked to it, take a look around and then went to One New Change - a huge department store with an elevator that takes you up to the roof, looking directly to the Cathedral. And on the top you have a great panoramic view of the city.
And after that we went to Piccadilly Circus and up to Soho.

Day four!
Tate Modern was our first stop. Interesting art work - loved Picasso and Pollock and of course Turner. The gallery is interesting by itself and on the top you have a great view of St. Paul's Cathedral and the River Themes.
After that we went along the shore, passing Globe Theater, The Shard and arriving to Tower Bridge :)
Across river Themes bypassing Tower of London and we stopped at Westminster and then we went home :)

Five days to come, so stay tuned!

I'm leaving...

Today...

and tomorrow I'll be in London! :)

Obviously I won't be posting anything for the time I'm away...but I asked my cinephile brother Tim, if he would post Movie Thursdays while I'm gone.. :)
So if there aren't going to be any Movie Thursdays...he is super lazy. And I'll be very mad at him....

Anyways, I can't wait to see London!

See you soon!

Goodnight Vienna

Yeah, I was there too :D with my school ...

So, I don't know what can I tell you...We went there, again for Christmas and we visited the Upper Belvedere which was transformed into a gallery of some very fine works, such as Klimt's Kiss. And t
he place is stunning! I felt like a queen there :)

see the pictures of inside on the net!
Of course we saw the great hundertwasser house!

These cute little kittens were in a shop near hundertwasser

And of course we went to see the city a bit. And we had an hour and half of free time, so me and my friends were on a hunt for a good shop...yeah I know...shopping in such a magnificent city. But we are young, so why not :)

Parlament
St Stephens Cathedral
I recommend visiting Vienna, not because it is a famous city just by it's name, but because of the good atmosphere it has!
