Movie Thursday: Inglourious Basterds

In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theater owner's vengeful plans for the same.

I really like the way of presenting the story. Just watch it. It's worth watching :D

While attending a party at James Franco's house, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and many other celebrities are faced with the apocalypse.

So many famous actors on one place in Hell. Awesome job! I wonder why Emma Watson didn't get to Heaven ... And James is super hot!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to everybody around the world!

Especially the Americans, who are all crazy about this holiday :)

I'm curious what are you going to become this year...I'm not going to dress up, because I'm visiting my family and I won't have time...but it's really not the Slovenian thing, we have our own ''Halloween'' on the 4th of March :)

So, what are you going to be? Let me know! :)

Movie Thursday: Inception

A skilled extractor is offered a chance to regain his old life as payment for a task considered to be impossible.

What do you tend to believe? Does the spinning ends?
Love the whole story and the fact they actually did the 100 meter long hallway that spins around! :D

What would your totem be? I personally would take my small Piggy. Comment below!

Blog Action Day

Today is Blog Action Day, where Bloggers from all over the world post about the same thing - this year - Human Rights.

I know I should write something on my own, but I was very touched by this post from Zen Pencils, one of my favourite Blogs:

The Declaration of Human Rights should be one of the most important and considered piece of paper forever!
I'm very sad when I turn on the television and see how these points are violated.
I sincerely hope the World will see that we have a big problem and not just hope, but act to prevent further violations!

Share this post, share Gavin's fantastic work, so many can see and maybe it will shift their minds and act.

Small Peek ...

Today is not an usual Thursday. I know there should be a Movie Thursday, but because I didn't publish from the last one, I decided to break the ritual and published a Small Peek post :)

This is a candle votive from Split - Croatia, from my trip to Montenegro.

Movie Thursday: Moneyball

Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to assemble a baseball team on a lean budget by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players.

Who would have thought what kind of money is being in the game. I love the story line and Brads good acting.

Greek Birdhouse

Hello everyone!

How are you? Are you back to school, like I am? I suppose that this year, my last year in Gymnasium, I'll have to work harder, which means I'll probably have less time to do my DIY projects, watch movies, travel, ...
But I promise I'll do my best, both school and blogging!

Ok, it's not that Greek, but still it has that beautiful blue colour matched with white :) Damn, I wish I was in Greece right now ...

A great movie, full of funny moments. Liked the whole story and of course, James Franco, who has prove again what a good actor he is.

I'm so busy!

No, I don't want to make any excuses for not posting anything on my blog.
It's just that I've been so busy with my school and I know that throughout the year I will seriously be panicking  especially from March on...

Don't be mad at me. I don't want you to be mad. But I'll probably be less active for these long 10 months. I really need to work this year.

I'll still post Movie Thursdays, but if I'm honest, I don't like to have two MT posts one right after another.

So I'll still try to make up a similar series thing and post it on a certain day in the week. Do you have any suggestions? I'd like to hear yours!

And I will work on my DIY projects, which I currently have zero, so hopefully I'll get some crafty inspiration soon!

Have a nice Tuesday, mine is not so good + it's raining...

See you!

A good zombie movie!
Loved the Jerusalem wall concept and the whole Brad Pitt acting. And they made a good job on the visual part.

I'm back!

But I want to go back!

The trip to Montenegro with my schoolmates was legendary!

We were there for seven days, traveled by bus to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Later on to Žabljak in Montenegro, where we were all packed up in one cottage having a blast.

And from there we went to Budva, the main city for fun. Three nights I danced like I had never before.

And from there we went to Croatia - Dubrovnik

 Split - Diocletian's Palace

Kotor

Lovčen

and Šibenik where we also slept.

And that was our last school year trip. Legendary!

I didn't bring my camera with me, so these pictures are from the internet. I'll probably get some pictures during the year, but most of them are from those nights when we partied! :)

I'm going on a trip

With my schoolmates to Montenegro!

Movie Thursday: The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

The true story of Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby who suffers a stroke and has to live with an almost totally paralyzed body; only his left eye isn't paralyzed. And he writes his own biography.

He had a great life, a career, three kids, wife and a mistress. A stroke changed his life, but he didn't give up - his imagination set him free.

Movie Thursday: Spring Breakers

Four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.

Four pretty girls and a monster. Would you do the same as they did?
A lot of nudity and bikinis, hot scenes, guns, money, music...all that gangster stuff.
Great work James Franco!

Tissue Paper Roses

Hello everyone!

How about making some nice little or big decorations for the table, shelves, vases, etc.

I think these napkin flowers are quite nice and they are super easy to make.

Here is what you need:

Fold the napkin twice in a small square and cut it to a circle. Separate the little circles and gather them together, staple them together and one by one bring the circles up and form a rose shape.

And that's it. Pretty easy isn't it?
Now you just need to place it somewhere. You can also decorate presents with these flowers.

What do you think? Do you like flowers?
